Dublin Gallery Weekend is a new flagship event for contemporary art in Dublin. The festival took place in the 10 member galleries of the Contemporary Art Gallery Association from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th of November.
The inaugural edition of Dublin Gallery Weekend included a programme of free artist talks, performances, guided tours, late openings and social events. It is organised by the Contemporary Art Gallery Association and is supported by the Arts Council Ireland/An Chomhairle Ealaíon and IPUT. The other 9 founding members are Taylor Gallery, Olivier Cornet Gallery, Oliver Sears Gallery, SO Fine Art Editions, Solomon Fine Art, Kevin Kavanagh Gallery, Hillsboro Fine Art, Kerlin Gallery and Green On Red Gallery.
